Love how easy it is to adjust and it stays in adjustment. Nice burrs. I also have the coffee grinder. These are very well crafted and look really nice. I had bought one for pepper and it didn't work great, so I switched it to salt and it worked amazing for that. The cap had an S anyway so I assumed maybe there are slight differences between the models. There is not, the second one I bought had a P and was still crap at pepper grinding. Seriously, I can get more pepper quicker by using one of those dinky McCormak disposable pepper mills. It is very well made but the ergonomics is not ideal. The grinder setting also would change by itself with use which is a little annoying. The ceramic grinding mechanism works well and the grind is consistent and the size of the grind is very controllable although it’s setting would not stay what one sets it. The top is very narrow and one has to grip very tightly to use it. Also, there is a plastic insert on the top knob that mesh with the octagonal shaft and I am not sure if this will be durable.great item, functions perfectly, very high quality! I like this a lot...I cannot tell you how many pepper mills I've tried over the years, from inexpensive to VERY expensive. None works as well as this relatively inexpensive one, which I purchased in 2011 and have used every day since. It grinds flawlessly every single time--no having to readjust the grind setting after refilling with pepper corns, no loosening of the grind setting while grinding. I'm now purchasing a second one for the summer home.Just received this. Finally! I can get coarsely ground pepper. This is the way I prefer for taste. It has a 25 year guarantee so hopefully this will last. I love it!This is a great peppermill. I decided to buy it after reading a number of reviews of the best pepper grinders. I ordered it via Amazon. When I received it it had lots of ground pepper in the bag and a good deal left in the mill. The tag was taped in a messy way to the grinder insead of hanging freely as I expect it should have been. This product had obviously been used and returned....and then resold without any attention.I kept the mill because it worked well...but the WAY I RECEIVED IT WAS VERY POOR.I will consider ever using Amazon again. It is a perfect pepper grinder! It has a good feel to it and has a good weight. I love that you can adjust the fineness of the pepper.
