We loved this product, until it melted our batteries while inside of the grinders. We tossed them after that for safety reasons.The Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder is easy to use, and allows me to quickly add fresh ground pepper to to food, at just the right coarseness.Three months and already broken.I like that it's push button, however they eat up the batters, and at 6 per grinder that gets quite expensive for me.I use a lot of pepper! This has saved me from wrist injuries. What a wonderful gift to myself!The light that illuminates where you are grinding the pepper over was an added bonus!It is easy to refill once you figure out the right way to lift it off. I love it!!!What a great and useful tool especially if you cook and love pepper.We keep our tri peppercorn blend in this one now and the black peppercorns in what we used to believe was the best auto grinder ever.These salt and pepper mills really do a great job. I have a set of far more expensive ones that are not nearly as good as these. Most salt mills do not do well with himalayan salt and this one grinds fine to coarse very well.I bought a set lat year in October, loved the way it felt, nice and easy. However just few days ago one of them stopped working all together! Nothing we could do, just made a grinding noise but didn’t grind.I contacted Amazon, but because it was few days past one year they couldn’t do anything, referred me to the manufacturer.They in turn told me that since it’s few days over one year there’s nothing they can do. They suggested I buy another set. It means that every year I will need to buy a new set!I have grinders that are more than 10 years old, but this one matched my tableware and because I have some arthritis in my hand it was easy to use, but buying one every year is not worth it!Another junk made in China !The product is cheap plastic and falls apart very easily, so disappointing as I have used an electric pepper grinder for about 5 years so have a good comparison. I would not order this product as it will not do the job for which it has been purchased. I sent back and will reorder a better quality product.I found it so easy to use. It is sturdy and well worth every penny. With one press of the button you have excellent granules either for the black pepper or sea salt. Highly recommendedIt has a compact, stylish design, holds quite a lot of corns, light feature works well. 6 batteries seems quite excessive but it is effortless in function.Easy to useI bought these units and they worked fine for 3 months or so. Then the pepper grinder would activate but not grind. I took it apart to find a plastic grinder blade that was worn out. I contacted the seller and they advised me to buy the replacement part locally! Not acceptable!
