This will keep them from “cementing” to the shaft. It will also provide you with the opportunity (and habit) of inspecting the motor shaft and bits for proper care and maintenance. 6) DO NOT GRIND METAL. Doing so will destroy the bit and make it unsuitable for grinding glass.
