So I’ve been using sandpaper on my Dremel to do my dogs nails. So I switched to this. Thinking it would be easier faster and would not build up heat. It does work OK. I need a bigger one for sure for my big dog. And it does not grind down the nails quickly as some of the same paint or so maybe I just need a better gritI just used this for the first time today, and it was incredible! It would usually take me upwards of an hour or longer to Dremel my two dogs' nails. Between the old bit just taking a while to grind off the nails, and then my dogs getting fussy and fighting back, nail time was something to be dreaded and put off. THIS BIT CHANGED EVERYTHING! It fit into my Dremel like any other bit. I turned it on and it just took down the nails so easily. I used to have to use a nail clipper to take off the length before I Dremeled it smooth, which my dogs hated. This just worked, quickly, and easily. No more clippers first. My only warning is that to watch closely how much nail to take off, because you can get to the quick (and blood supply) pretty fast. This was the quickest I have ever done my two dog's nails! I would say barely 10 minutes per dog. My dogs didn't really get a chance to fight back because it was all so fast. I got both done in less time then it normally took me to do one. Would recommend, with the warning of watching carefully and stop before hitting blood. When it removes nail this quickly, it gets to the blood supply pretty fast. Five stars.Using this Diamond nail attachment with my dremel is much smoother with less vibration when filing my dogs’ nails. The sand paper bits were too rough and caused the dremel to jump and my dogs didn’t like the vibration it caused. Although it may take longer to file their nails, my dogs are less stressed.Finally got the model number I wanted. Wanted one that would be easier to use. Fits all the way to coupler holder of my Dremel. Less space to catch the dog's hair.Buy it, you won’t regret it. Don’t buy the off brand it’s a pile, this one is legitThis works great! If your a groomer totally buy it. It’s not going to file down a whole mail easily but it does a fantastic job of rounding out the nail after it has already been clipped.This bit seems to build up less heat than others and grinds pretty quickly.That's all
