Test results for reference Diamond Blade for Iron Steel Test 1:Test diameter 4.5 inch diamond blade; RPM: 8000; Test material: 12 mm diameter round steel(45# steel). Result: 3000+ Cuts.Test 2:Test diameter 4.5 inch diamond blade; RPM: 8000; Test material: 10 mm diameter stainless steel. Result: 3000+ Cuts.Notice: If you cut harder materials such as rebar, the blade will become blunt when cutting, and the number of cuts will be fewer. Please try to keep the angle grinder cutting speed around the recommended speed. Please wear protective gear. Note Install the diamond blade correctly according to the instructions.Wear necessary protective gear.Cut in a straight line and feed the blade smoothly, do not cut in curves or apply lateral force.Use the saw blade in the direction of the arrow marked on the blade. This blade can be used to cut natural stone, not wood or metal. Package Machine Application Effect Storage of diamond saw blades Where the circular saw blade is not used immediately, it should be placed flat on the platform or hung on a special shaft where the circular saw blade is stored. Do not lean against the wall to avoid deformation. [High Hardness Diamond Grain]:Discs are made with high hardness diamond, could be used for cutting all kinds of metals, with Much Lower cost per cut compared to bonded cut-off wheels
[Vacuum Brazed technology] Vacuum Brazed technology makes the industrial premium diamond grains permanently brazed to the edge of steel core, creating an unbreakable and extremely heat resistant segments, Much safer than abrasive cut-off wheel, no risk of break of disc
[Specification] 4" Diamond Cutting Wheel, with the bore of 22.23mm(7/8") and 15.875mm(5/8"), Suitable for most of hand-held grinder or trim saw
[Industrial Quality] Quality Assured accurate cutting PERFORMANCE, PRECISION, LONGEVITY, STABILITY & INTEGRITY, cutting Longer, Faster and Reliably than regular abrasive disc that may shatter or prematurely wear, healthy for operater and less pollution
[Wide Application] Diamond cutting wheel is created for dry cutting of metal, rebar, iron, metal profiles, aluminum, different types of pipes and another sheet metal(Less than dia 25mm)
I cut mostly mild steel. I plan to keep this around as a backup in case I run out of composite wheels on a jobsite. So far, it’s worked well. The good: 1) The wheel is well balanced. It runs at full speed in my angle grinder with no excess vibration. It fit my spindle perfectly. 2) Prior to use, it looks nice. The paint looks good, the diamond abrasive is evenly applied, etc. 3) I’ve only made a few test cuts on schedule 40 steel pipe, but it cut fairly well. 4) The big advantage for me is durability in storage. Composite wheels are naturally brittle and sometimes get broken in storage just by bouncing into other tools as I’m driving to or from a jobsite. Diamond wheels don’t have that problem because the backing material is steel. The bad: 1) 3000 cuts seems like an overly-bold claim. I suppose it depends heavily on what you’re cutting. For most things that most people cut with cutoff wheels, I’d be surprised to see any cutoff wheel last more than about 20 to 100 cuts.
