Easily grind favorite peppercorns, from white, red, black or a colorful melange, to Sichuan peppercorns, long pepper, grains of paradise, as well as flavorful smoked peppercorns, plus all types of sea salt, like fluer de sel, Himalayan or Celtic sea salt, and more. It displays nicely on the countertop or table and is always ready for any cooking task and dining occasion, both indoors and outdoor entertaining. It’s easy to use and super easy to fill. Simply remove the locking nut along with the mill top and fill the cylinder. Replace the mill top and tighten the locking nut to the desired grind texture. Turn the mill top clockwise to grind the contents directly where flavor is needed. These are more like a walnut color. It’s wood… not dark at all. They do the job and dealing with a return doesn’t sound fun so just be aware if you want a dark color wood or close to black like the pic, you’ll be disappointed.The salt releases far too quicklyI was looking for a large pepper mill and this one at 17 inches looks and works great.They’re definitely not black and not even both the same color. I got them for Christmas but just opened them because I was saving them for when we moved into our new house. I’m pretty disappointed.Excellent product and quite affordable.They're exactly as pictured and would work nicely, except for the fact that the holes in the salt shaker are about the size of matchsticks, and salt just POURS out. Unusable, returned. Maybe just a bad batch?As you can see the color is completely different and looks like they were made out of cheap bedposts. Chinese-made garbage that belongs right in the trash.pretty cheap. scratches easily. grinds well.
