This definitely has a bold flavor and even with flavored creamer you can taste the dark chocolate. It does have a little bitterness at the end, so I don't suggest making it really strong. I rated it only 4 stars because it's very hard to open. I had to cut it when normally you can just pull this type of bag open. But once it's open, the aroma is amazing! Even my cat loved the smell, so it's also Tater approved lol.I ordered 2 varieties to try ( kicking horse and ass kicker) both smell very good from bag to cup and have great flavor to them, Love strong dark coffee. The only thing that disappoints me is the size of the bag. I didn't read on size, assumed it was the usual 16oz bag like most brands, but it's only 10oz. As a heavy coffee drinking house a bag won't even last is a through the week, guess it's a good thing I order 2 to try.Love this coffee - glad I discovered this brand! It comes well packaged, and the flavor is great if your a dark roast lover. Check it out.I use this coffee when camping brewing with a french press. It has great flavor, filters well, and is the best stuff I've had out of the press.I enjoyed this coffee because it's a great hearty cup of joe.I know what you are thinking - how can a coffee be strong yet mild. The flavor is strong with no acid tone whatever and blended with a dark chocolate flavorI’m very picky about the taste of my coffee. I like it on the sweeter side rather than bitter. My previous brand I used I had to add raw honey but not with this one. This coffee has the best flavor.Been buying this for two years. Delicious. No bitterness.
