How much can you say about salt? Basically there are 2 components, the salt and the grinder. I will discuss both briefly.The GRINDER:This one comes with its own built-in, disposable grinder. The grinder worked very well for me and this shaker lasted quite a while. I am not sure how long it took us to use up the salt but the grinder worked flawlessly the whole time.The SALT:It is hard to tell whether one salt really tastes better than another. I think this one tends to give the impression of better taste because you get larger grains of salt than you would in typical table salt. A larger grain results in delivering more flavor when it hits your tongue. By the way, I still use table salt for cooking because it is easy to measure/pore. My wife also really likes the taste, so I suppose this salt does taste better.The Bottom Line:It is salt. It is good. It works. It is affordable. I like it. I hope you do too! : )
