LO COMPRÉ HACE UN AÑO, TRABAJA MUY BIEN,,FACIL DE LIMPIAR..I truly cannot rate this machine to be fair to the manufacturer. The reason being is that I purchased a refurbished machine from Amazon. After I opened the box I found not only had the machine not been cleaned properly, also it did not work in on/grind mode. Only in reverse.So in no way would my opinion be beneficial to a consumer except to recommend they not buy the refurbished one.I love Amazon but by the same token, I was very disappointed with this transaction & the individual I spoke with. While in the end Amazon accepted the return but not before some BS.Wanting me to check another outlet. Well duh, if it works in reverse then it's definitely not my outlet. Did I know it was refurbished. Duh, it was not! Did I this, Did I that, etc. Had I been able to get the replacement one the next day I probably would've. However, I had already purchased some cuts of meat in anticipation of using my new grinder. A replacement one I wouldn't be able to receive the next day. So I selected a different grinder.The grinder works as advertised but I had an issue with a part in the grinder after the first use. I attempted to order a replacement part thru Homdox for over 7 weeks without a reasonable response from them. I knew something was up when the grinder arrived without customer support contact information or a parts number list. If you buy this product, consider it a throwaway if there are issues with it.I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before wasting my time and money purchasing this. I was very happily grinding up about 5 pounds of pork roast when I noticed large black spots in my meat that I know were not in what i put into the grinder. As I disassembled the unit, I found black contamination inside all of the meat that was still there. Trying to find the source, thinking it was assembly grease from the motor, I cleaned the parts and discovered what I think is the problem: on the back of the auger, there is a bushing/washer that mates the auger to the main housing. As the auger rotates, it seems to be wearing into the aluminum housing (see picture), grinding off pieces of aluminum from the housing which get mixed into the meat. Eventually this gets concentrated enough it is pushed out in large bits of contaminated food that should not be consumed.Once I realized this, I had to throw the entire 5 pounds of meat away, as there were likely small particles of metal in the food from the very beginning. A complete waste of good, expensive meat. While I am returning this dangerous piece of junk to Amazon, they sure aren't going to pay for the ruined food, so it was an expensive lesson, since there was a review on Oct 19, 2021 where someone also shared pictures of exactly what happened to me (only my meat contamination was black in color).This has great reviews, is priced reasonably, and was doing a great job of grinding the meat. But absolutely none of this matters, unless you wish to supplement your diet with aluminum alloy flakes from the design/material choice of this piece of junk.Food in the U.S. is hard enough to come by, save yourself an expensive and wasteful lesson, and avoid this particular product. Your body, and wallet will thank you!I bought this to make homemade dog food for my pups. It does the job, but I wouldn’t recommend for big jobs it’s not powerful enough. The blades are sharp and it grinds veggies, meats, & bones. Works for for what I need it for.I really wanted this to grind chicken gizzards. I was worried but it worked perfectly! What took me at least an hour before only took 2 minutes. It was amazing. I am so happy. My only issue is I wished I purchased it years ago.My old grinder (1964) finally gave out. I compared several grinders and decided on this little beauty! This grinder was a snap to assemble and operate! I do not use a grinder frequently, maybe once a month. We like to make ham loaf and sandwich spreads from leftover roasts and sometimes our own sausage. It was the perfect intersection of quality and price for me. But, please do read the instructions on cutting up the food you will be grinding. Too large of pieces of meat can jam it up. I cut the pieces smaller and it just breezed through 2 pounds of leftover beef roast. I would recommend this meat grinder to a friend without hesitation. dI was using this to make homemade food for my cats. It works pretty good. It won't grind large beef bones, but it will do chicken bones if you first cut them into small pieces. It doesn't do so well on the hard gristly parts on the ends of the bones, so I removed those. For lightweight work, this grinder is fine, but if you plan on grinding lots of meat, or putting bones through, save up some extra money and get a better machine.J'ai reçu ce hachoir à viande et la qualité est très mauvaise. J'ai demandé l'étiquette pour retourné l'article et j'ai dû payer les frais de poste de 44.01$ du Québec au USA tout en ayant la confirmation qu'ils me rembourseraient. Il m'ont remboursé une partie seulement. Je suis en communication pour avoir la totalité des frais de poste que j'ai dû payer de ma poche. Esperant qu'ils corrigeront le tire.Just received this grinder with several dents, notified the seller and they offered return with full refund or $15 refund and keep the grinder. I assembled the unit and ground up cooked chicken, worked perfectly. Very easy to disassemble and clean. I accepted their $15 refund. Hopefully it will work as well on raw chicken.
