Love that it is low sound and I tried to figure out how to use it on my picky dogs. My cat does not sit still long enough for this to work ?My pup has had high anxiety levels while grooming since I cut too far 1 time. His black nails make it difficult for me to know how short I can safely go. This makes the whole process better in multiple way. His nails are smooth after trimming, we can easily do 1 paw at a time without him hiding in between and I can easily see and feel where his nails can be filed down.I recommend these for people with nervous small breeds. Grooming is good again.I have a Pomeranian. He is nervous all the time when I try to cut his nails. And he is very anxious about the thing makes noise. However I tried this one on him, and he was ok with it, but only can cut one-two nails per time which is normal. I recommend to use the large side of the grinder. It's easier, and you don't have to worry you didn't hold the nail in the right place.Recieved item,opened & read directions fully. Charged item as instructed.When fully charged cord removed. 1st time turned on within 15 seconds motor sound on electrical smell & white smoke. Turned off machine. Inspected & no obvious problem found. Turned on again same thing occurred. Returning for refund.there is nothing that I didn't like about this product,it is easy to hold and quick nd easy to use nd less stress for my dog nd cat.i recommend this product for animals
